About Me

My name’s Matthew Dunn and I’m an Australian-based art, comic creator, album cover designer, and a whole lot more.

I currently work with Redbubble , a print-on-demand business and artist community that I’ve been part of since 2009. Over that time I’ve created hundreds of designs that I sell across their product range, and I’ve also participated in numerous Artist Community events (such as the live art ART + MEL event that took place in Melbourne).

Over the years I’ve held numerous solo exhibitions and also participated in joint and group exhibitions (both in Australia and internationally), and I’m in the early stages of preparing for my next solo exhibition to be held in 2020.

I’ve spent many years working as an artist and designer within the music industry as well, most recently collaborating with Augie March, William Crighton, and Allara on different projects such as album artwork, tour merchandise and promotional materials. I’ve previously worked with Crippled Black Phoenix, Bombs Of Hades, Se Delan, The Lillingtons, Iron Reagan, Teenage Bottlerocket, and Monkey Marc.

My work has also been published in art and literary magazines, as well as various solo comics and anthologies. I’m currently working on a large scale comic/music project titled Salvation Is Free that includes collaborations with some of the wonderful musicians I’ve worked with over the years.

I’m proud to be a creative partner with Meninadança, a non-profit organisation who work with disadvantaged and at-risk girls in Brazil.
